Job Title: Forge Shop Operator
Department: Forge Shop 
FLSA Status: Hourly $18-20 per hour

SUMMARY: Dyson Corporation is seeking candidates with the passion to learn how to operate large forge & presses equipment, operate forklift, use calipers and maintain dimensional data records.

Key responsibilities:

• Set up and operate forging machines to perform hot-forging operations.
• Install, adjust, and remove dies and components using cranes, hoists, and hand tools.
• Maintain safe and efficient operation while meeting production and quality standards.

Safety Requirements:

• Follow all company safety policies, PPE requirements, and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Maintain awareness around hot metal, heavy machinery, and mobile equipment.
• Inspect tools, dies, forklifts, and PPE before use.

Required qualifications:

• Comfortable lifting and moving items that weigh up to about 50 pounds.
• Able to handle the physical parts of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Can read and make sense of technical drawings

Preferred skills:

• Prior experience working in manufacturing or operating machinery.
• Background as a Forge Operator is a plus.
• Strong skills in diagnosing and fixing mechanical issues.
• Comfortable using precision measuring tools with accuracy.
